The good people over at City Heights Farmer’s Market are celebrating their first birthday this Saturday in grand and tasty style. Read their invite below…

In honor of our 1-year anniversary, the City Heights Farmers’ Market is throwing a BIRTHDAY PARTY! As such, we are hosting a Tamale Contest!!

9 am to 1 pm // The corner of Wightman & Fairmount

If you (think) make the *BEST* tamales in town, or if you (think) you know someone who makes the *BEST* tamales in town, send them our way. $275 in Cash Prizes will be distributed to the makers of the BEST tamales!, we are especially encouraging City Heights residents to participate. And of course, I expect to see many of your smiling faces at the Market on June 6th, participating in the TAMALE CONTEST TASTING!
